Latest media reports are suggesting that Manchester United may look to Arsenal’s Dutchman, Robin Van Persi this Summer as moves for David Villa and Karim Benzea look set to collapse.
Van Persi, who is eager for success, maybe tempted for a move North to Old Trafford should United come looking.

According to Karim Benzema’s agent, Karim Djaziri, the French International will be staying in France for one more year as was stated by the club a few days ago. It was claimed that Benzema wanted to stay in France and with Lyon until after the World Cup Finals in South Africa next Summer.

Manchester United are one of four clubs in the running to sign Frenchman Franck Ribery from Bayern Munich. Real Madrid, Chelsea and Champions League winners Barcelona are all said to be chasing the highly rated left winger this Summer and after stern interviews claiming Ribery would not be going anywhere, Bayern hinted that a move could take shape this Summer.

New Chelsea boss, Carlo Ancelotti, reportedly rang Carlos Tevez while the United man was on holiday in a bid to lure him to London and Chelsea. Tevez has six clubs chasing him at the moment – Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, a club in Italy and a club (Not Real Madrid) in Spain.
Tevez who is in Buenos Aires relaxing after a long hard season was apparently shocked but pleased to hear from the new Chelsea manager according to sources close to the front man

Carlos Tevez has reportedly explained that there is still a strong possibility he will stay with English Champions Manchester United despite it seeming that the Argentine was on his way out of Old Trafford this Summer. During a news bulletin on Sky Sports News, it was declared that Tevez would sit down with all six clubs involved in the saga and United was still a likely destination for Tevez.

Gary Neville has committed his future to the Red Devil’s, rubbishing reports that he could be about to drop to the Championship with Middlesbrough who are searching for valuable experience. Of ‘that’ generation, only Giggs, Scholes and Gary Neville remain, with Butt, Beckham and Philip Neville all leaving the nest. Giggs and Scholes have been lauded with praise over the last year and more with few recognising how important the club captain has been.

Nemanja Vidic will be staying at Manchester United after reports were linking him heavily with Real Madrid and most notably, Barcelona. However, the Serbian will be seeing his current contract out with the English Champions and will hopefully be renewing it.
Vidic’s agent, Paolo Fabbri, spoke of his belief that unless there was a moment of madness from “some Arab,” Vidic would be a United player next season, dismissing reports from Spain and Italy.

Cristiano Ronaldo has launched a stinging attack to the “Ronaldo haters” after his odds on move to Madrid are accelerating in speed. Many United fans have disregarded him for his petulant antics and unprofessionalism acts on the field rather then concentrating on what he did at United as a wonderful player.
The deal with Madrid has not been completed as contracts are yet to be signed but Ronaldo has taken his chance to have a dig at anyone who has listed him in their hate bracket,

Controversial owners of Manchester United, the Glazer’s, have produced a rare statement saying they are fully behind Sir Alex’s plans for the team and have funds ready and available for the Scot to use as he pleases.
With Cristiano Ronaldo’s pending £80M transfer to Real Madrid, United will be showing some impressive balance sheets for the season gone by with the revenue raised from merchandising, TV rights, competition successes and now, transfers.

Brazilian forward Robinho of Manchester City has spoken of his desire for City to approach Manchester United for their Argentine work-horse, Carlos Tevez. Tevez who’s future remains in the balance at Old Trafford after United turned their noses up at the price tag, set by his economic rights owner, Kia Joorabchian, is being linked with several clubs including Liverpool and Real Madrid but on the face of it all, it looks like he will join Manchester City should he fail to be signed up by the Red Devils.
