Tevez, Nani & Park Set To Leave?

Posted by Keano! on May 29, 2009

Manchester United may be about to get rid of four first team players after Ferguson admitted that the team would be re-shaped after the final loss in Rome last Wednesday. Carlos Tevez who didn’t return to Manchester with the United squad is now a free agent as his two year loan deal with United ended when United’s dreams of lifting the Champions League trophy for the second successive season came to an end.

According to The Daily Mirror Tevez looks a sure certainty to be playing his work-horse style football elsewhere next season, but a surprise claim that Ji-Sung Park could be on his way out have surfaced too. Park who scored some notable goals this season, such as Chelsea away and Arsenal away in the Champions League, was thought to be a favourite of Sir Alex’s but the South Korean may see himself moved on to make way for a well known United target in Antonio Valencia of Wigan Athletic.

Tevez commented on Ferguson’s selection policy and tactics of the Champions League final,

“I wanted to play in the starting line-up in Rome but that decision was down to the coach.

“But with a strategy more attacking in the first minute then perhaps the result would have been different.

He added, “It has not been a good time for me because I believe that I should have played more minutes. My future will now be decided. My agents are negotiating and I am waiting to hear some news.”

Nani is another name who many believe has had more then enough time to impress and its likely he will see the doors this Summer as he hasn’t managed to pin down a left wing position in the United team where it is arguably our weakest position on the field, Wayne Rooney having to slip back into the role at times.

United aren’t willing to pay the asking amount for Carlos Tevez and if Kia Joorabchian doesn’t lower, then Carlos won’t be wearing United’s number 32 anymore. Its rumoured that Ferguson wants Karim Benzema of Lyon. The highly rated French youngster was a target last Summer, but United opted of Dimitar Berbatov, a player who the jury still seems to be out on. The price expected to be put on Benzema is around £30M and with Tevez not being signed up, Nani and Park supposedly on their way out, it may just give Ferguson the ability to swoop for the front man.

In other transfer news, goalkeeper understudy, Tomasz Kuszczak could be on his way out with the emergence of Ben Foster at United. Foster was the star of the show against Tottenham Hotspur in the Carling Cup final.

my advice to sir alex is to keep park and release Anderson because park is far better than Anderson, and another advice RIBERY (bayern munich)is a very good player.imagine ronaldo(right midfield)carrick and flectcher(deffensive midfield),ribery(left midfield)and then HUNTELAARR and ROONEY (srikers).and bezema and berbatov strikers on bench that wiill help the team very well united will really be the best this way.thanx SIR ALEX!!!

I think Sir Alex expected Nani, Berbatov and Anderson to become a vital part of the team when he had bought them. But it turned out to be a MISTAKE. He should sell Nani and buy Ribery or maybe buy Valencia. Next, he should try to extend Tevez’s contract (he’s WAY better than Berbatov). If that’s not possible then he has to buy Benzema.

MY ADVICE TO SIR ALEX IS THAT HE SHOULD NOT LET NANI LEAVE IN ANY CASE BECAUSE IS A GEM OF A PLAYER, WHO ONLY NEEDS A BIT MORE TIME TO SHINE AND SHOW HIS TALENT.IF THE RIGHT AMOINT OF TIME IS PROVIDED HE WILL SURELY BECOME THE NEW C.RONALDO!!!!!
