Ronaldo Hit By Injury

Posted by Keano! on June 10, 2009

Cristiano Ronaldo maybe in need of surgery after fears of a hernia, as the United winger pulled out of the Portuguese national team for their upcoming clash with Estonia in their World Cup Qualifier.

Ronaldo, who is currently in Los Angeles, is believed to be awaiting the results of tests carried out in Lisbon and plan out his next few weeks and maybe months.

The man on Real Madrid’s hit-list missed Manchester United’s pre-season last time around after undergoing ankle surgery for a recurring problem.

This latest news means that if the results show a hernia operation is required, it will be another pre-season missed out on, for whichever club he is with in September.

It’s thought Manchester United will have a delegated member of their backroom team in close proximity of their number seven at all times while the first team are in the Far East on their pre-season tour.
