2009/2010 Fixture List Announced Tomorrow

Posted by Keano! on June 16, 2009

It is still Summer and no the football is still a while away but not as long as you may think and the debates on the new league season will pick up even more from 10:00 tomorrow morning as the FA release the fixture list for the 2009/2010 season.

United have drawn their opening games of the past two seasons at home and will be keeping eyes peeled for the big fixtures!

The obvious ones to look out for as a United fan are,

  • Arsenal
  • Chelsea
  • Liverpool
  • Manchester City

Fans are urged NOT TO book any travel arrangements for games they see dated as all fixtures are subject to time and date changes as Sky, Setanta and others sort out the TV listings, along with Champions League and Europa League fixtures to be taken into account.

MUN will have the full fixture list available here from lunchtime along with an exclusive downloadable desktop wallpaper showing all the games ahead.

Arsenal fans are in for a treat as they have had the start of their fixture list leaked on SkySports News this evening and many will be debating if it was a test list or the real thing. Below is a graphic of the slip up by the SkySports team.

So could we conclude that we won’t face Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool within our first six games? All I will say is that if I were an Arsenal fan, I’d be worried with that start to the season. Six, maybe seven points max I think.

But as United fans, who do you want in the first game?
