Real Madrid are continuing their public pursuit of Cristiano Ronaldo and they Spanish side will be able to focus their crosshairs more intensely on Manchester, England as they smashed the world transfer record fee and signed Brazilian superstar, Kaka for a breathtaking £60M earlier in the day. United Raid Brazil

Posted by Keano! on June 8, 2009

Brazilian starlet Dodo is looking set to join Manchester United this Summer in a move which will see the 17 year old join up with International teammates Rafael & Fabio Da Silva. Dodo, who currently plays with Corinthians, is expecting the move to be complete this Summer he said and it has extracted angry comments from Carlos Alberto, 1970 World Cup Winner.

Alberto was angered that big clubs like United were poaching around and snapping up young talent for pittance when the same player would sell for considerably more in the bigger market. But since the level of finances isn’t as high in South America, they gratefully accept the “low” offers from the worlds best.

A Tiger In Campbell?

Posted by Keano! on June 7, 2009

United youngster, Frazier Campbell who spent all of the 2008/2009 season on loan at Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur as part of the Dimitar Berbatov move, could well see himself playing his football at the KC for Phil Brown and Hull City next season.

The Englishman was a massive influence on the Hull side when they gained promotion to the Premier League in 2007/2008 scoring 15 goals in 34 appearances for the Tigers. He rejected Hull at the start of last season and ended up going to Tottenham Hotspur where he didn’t really have much success despite scoring twice against Liverpool in the Carling Cup.

United Move For Valencia

Posted by Keano! on June 7, 2009

According to reports from SkySports News, Manchester United have made a bid in excess of £16M for Wigan Athletic’s Antonio Valencia. It is understood that Spanish giants, Real Madrid, are going to challenge United’s bid for the Ecuadorian as he was apparently high on Florentino Perez’s list of “I want him and him…”

After a rather disappointing two seasons at United, Portuguese man Nani is seemingly second fiddle now to Ji-Sung Park and can’t get too much of a look-in these days at United. Sir Alex is supposedly willing to listen to offers for Nani as he looks to bring Valencia to Old Trafford.

Dressing Room Camaraderie Eases Pain – Rio

Posted by Keano! on June 7, 2009

Rio Ferdinand has spoken of his belief that the friendships and banter among the current crop of United players will ease the pain suffered in Rome last month when Barcelona basically taught Manchester United a lesson for 80 minutes.

Ferdinand who is  a clear leader in the United setup has to look like the leader on and off the pitch and these comments add to it. Speaking to ChannelBee.com, Rio unveiled all with regards to who are the dressing room jokers and whose names are usually found at the end of a dressing room prank, and that when the laughing and joking knows no barriers with his teammates, there is a clear one with Ferguson which they have to respect says Rio,

Buy Or Develop?

Posted by Keano! on June 7, 2009

It’s the same case every Summer, and reports seem to get crazier by the year. It is of course, the United transfer wheel and speculation on who the wheel will stop at and bring back to Old Trafford. This Summer so far has been no different with Wigan’s Antonio Valencia, Bayern Munich’s Frank Ribery, Lyon’s Karim Benzema and Real Madrid’s Klass Jan Huntelaar all having reports linked to them that the English Champions are lurking with interest.

The departures list is also heavily populated, with Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, Cristiano Ronaldo, Fraizer Campbell, Tomasz Kuszczak, Danny Simpson and Carlos Tevez all linked with moves away from the club although some of them are complete media talk and seriously doubt there’s any truth to the stories. Gary Neville to Middlesbrough being the main one.

Ronaldo’s Price Tag Reads £75M

Posted by Keano! on June 6, 2009

In the wake of Florentino Perez’s claims that he would be looking to bring Brazilian ace, Kaka, to Real Madrid and follow that coup up with Manchester United’s star, Cristiano Ronaldo, according to The Mirror, Sir Alex Ferguson has stuck a price tag on Ronaldo reading £75M and not a penny less.

The price, which would be in excess of €85M, would be the highest transfer fee ever and Real Madrid are capable of funding the switch. Perez recently claimed he was going to turn his attention toward Ronaldo as a deal with Kaka is seemingly complete although the story is not yet officially confirmed.
