Posted by Keano! on June 17, 2009

The Premier League fixtures for 2009/2010 have been released and Manchester United will kick off their campaign at home against newly promoted Birmingham City on August 15th.

Due to The FA and the Premier League being very nit-picky about the list of fixtures, MUN cannot publish the list in full as it would be breaking the strict copyright they are enforcing on it. We can however look at the entire list and pick out the juicy fixtures.

Neville Dismisses Boro Link

Posted by Keano! on June 15, 2009

Gary Neville has committed his future to the Red Devil’s, rubbishing reports that he could be about to drop to the Championship with Middlesbrough who are searching for valuable experience. Of ‘that’ generation, only Giggs, Scholes and Gary Neville remain, with Butt, Beckham and Philip Neville all leaving the nest. It’s All About Wayne’s World Now

Posted by Keano! on June 14, 2009

Ronaldo is on his way to Spain and I’m going to go out on a limb and say that Wayne Rooney won’t be as gutted as some to see the Portuguese man leave as the number ten can now take the reigns as the United focal point, which in my opinion anyways, he always was.

Rooney contains all the attributes you want in a player and if Sir Alex plays him in the central role which Rooney longs for then it could be the key to United’s future success.

Many United fans have disregarded him for his petulant antics and unprofessionalism acts on the field rather then concentrating on what he did at United as a wonderful player.

Fergie Must Copy Capello!

Posted by Keano! on June 11, 2009

Fabio Capello has really managed to get the best out of Wanyne Rooney of late, and the funny thing is, it’s playing him in his best position rather then playing him somewhere else to accommodate other players.

Ferguson, genius he maybe, but he persists in playing Rooney out wide where he is no where near as effective. Sure he tracks back, puts the opposition under pressure and sets up chances along with scoring the odd goal, but play him in a centre forward role and he will be odds on to score in every match with the Quality United have around him.
