Gary Neville has committed his future to the Red Devil’s, rubbishing reports that he could be about to drop to the Championship with Middlesbrough who are searching for valuable experience. Of ‘that’ generation, only Giggs, Scholes and Gary Neville remain, with Butt, Beckham and Philip Neville all leaving the nest. Giggs and Scholes have been lauded with praise over the last year and more with few recognising how important the club captain has been.

Rome 09: O’Shea’s A Starter
Posted by Keano! on May 20, 2009
Sir Alex Ferguson claimed that long serving defender John O’Shea will be the right back for United’s Champions League final appearance with Barcelona in Rome in a weeks time. The Irishman is set for his first Champions League final appearance and will get in ahead of Rafael and Gary Neville.
O’Shea, who is often left on the bench when all are fit with Wes Brown, Gary Neville and Rafael Da Silva, has been one of the performers of the season for United doing a sterling job when employed, most notably when Patrice Evra was out at left back.

Giggs Picks A Personal United Team
Posted by Keano! on May 19, 2009
Winner of an eleventh League title last Saturday, Ryan Giggs was asked over the weekend to submit a team of former and present United players he played with. There were some slight surprises in the Welshman’s selection but when considered, it is a pretty impressive line out.
Giggs opted to go with a 4-4-2 formation, but in his team, there were no places for United stars like Nemanja Vidic, Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Cristiano Ronaldo.
