A Tiger In Campbell?

United youngster, Frazier Campbell who spent all of the 2008/2009 season on loan at Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur as part of the Dimitar Berbatov move, could well see himself playing his football at the KC for Phil Brown and Hull City next season.

The Englishman was a massive influence on the Hull side when they gained promotion to the Premier League in 2007/2008 scoring 15 goals in 34 appearances for the Tigers. He rejected Hull at the start of last season and ended up going to Tottenham Hotspur where he didn’t really have much success despite scoring twice against Liverpool in the Carling Cup.

Berbatov Happy With His Season

Dimitar Berbatov who has been under severe scrutiny from United fans and media alike for a season which has had its ups and down for him insists he is happy with his input of 14 goals. Berbatov who missed a crucial penalty in the FA Cup semi-final against Everton after a very poor attempt was booed by sections of the United fans in his next two games.

Berbatov has played a key role for United scoring and setting up winners against Stoke City, Middlesbrough, Bolton Wanderers Aalborg BK and more. But due to his lack of running and desire to win the ball back he has come in for some criticism from the United fans, some labelling him a “flop.”

Carrick Amazed At Honours

Michael Carrick was brought in as a replacement to Roy Keane a few seasons ago, and I doubt he could have expected it to go the way it has done for the Geordie. 3 Premier League titles, a League Cup, a Champions League, a World Club Cup along with a charity shield plus a few other smaller honours.

The midfielder was often criticised when he joined for his relaxed approach and poor end product but his passing and vision along with his goals are turning out to be worth their weight in gold. The number sixteen still wakes up in the mornings and has to pinch himself to see if it all really is reality and not just some crazy wonderful dream.
